- Hello everyone! Even though I'm a Midwesterner at heart (MI), I gained a lot of teaching experience as an East coaster (NH), and began to refine my skills here in the west (WY) at Teton Science School. I'm psyched to be teaching life science this year! My background has been teaching biology and ecology at the high school level so working with seventh graders has thus far been an exhilarating change. I am currently trying to live as sustainably as possible by riding my bike to school, so if you see me on the road to Wilson, make sure to wave! My hobbies are quilting, skiing, knitting, climbing, and farming.. (Can farming be a hobby?) I'm absolutely in love with place-based education, and am currently devouring literature on the subject matter. (Most current read: "Ecological Literacy" by:David W. Orr, Michael K.
